Coffee Day Global, the operator of Café Coffee Day, reported a deeper net loss for the September quarter even as its revenues saw steady growth, according to a regulatory filing by parent company Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd (CDEL).
The company posted a net loss of ₹6.18 crore for Q2 FY26, compared with ₹5.48 crore in the same quarter last year. Net revenue rose 5.6% year-on-year to ₹274.18 crore, up from ₹259.64 crore a year earlier.
Average sales per day (ASPD) inched up to ₹21,168, slightly higher than ₹21,038 in the corresponding quarter last year, and up 2.02% from ₹20,747 recorded in the June quarter.
Store count, however, continued to decline. Café Coffee Day operated 423 outlets during the September quarter, down from 440 stores a year ago. Meanwhile, the café chain's vending machine network expanded 1.5%, rising to 55,733 machines from 54,912 in the year-ago period.
At the parent level, CDEL reported a significantly widened net loss of ₹15.70 crore for Q2 FY26, compared with ₹4.30 crore in the same quarter last fiscal. Revenue from operations increased 3.78% to ₹279.53 crore during the quarter.
