Bengaluru-based electric vehicle company Simple Energy has announced strategic partnerships with India’s leading e-commerce platforms, Amazon India and Flipkart. Through this collaboration, customers can now book the flagship electric scooters, Simple One Gen 1.5 and Simple OneS, online and have them delivered directly to their doorstep, making the buying process easier, more convenient, and completely digital.
The company stated that this move aims to provide a hassle-free, tech-enabled purchase experience for customers while expanding its reach to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities across India. To coincide with the festive Diwali season, Simple Energy has also rolled out special offers and discounts on its scooters through both e-commerce platforms.
Suhas Rajkumar, Founder and CEO of Simple Energy, said,“Diwali represents progress and new beginnings, making it the perfect time to advance our electric mobility mission. With Amazon and Flipkart, we can reach more customers and make adopting EVs easier and more accessible than ever.”
During Amazon India Great Indian Festival, customers can avail discounts of ₹14,500 on HDFC Bank credit cards, ₹8,750 on other bank credit cards, and up to ₹16,434 with the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Card on Simple One and Simple OneS scooters. On Flipkart’s Big Bang Diwali Sale, Simple One is available with a flat ₹7,500 discount and Simple OneS with ₹5,000 off, while SBI cardholders can enjoy up to ₹7,250 extra savings and Flipkart Axis Bank cardholders can get up to ₹4,000 cashback. A 12-month no-cost EMI option is also available to facilitate easy ownership.
The Simple One Gen 1.5 is India’s longest-range electric scooter with an IDC range of 248 km and accelerates from 0–40 km/h in 2.77 seconds. The Simple OneS offers a 181 km IDC range, top speed of 105 km/h, and 0–40 km/h acceleration in 2.55 seconds. Prices are ₹1,71,944 and ₹1,54,999 respectively (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). With these offerings, Simple Energy is not only providing advanced EV features but also making electric scooter ownership more convenient and affordable through online booking and doorstep delivery.
