Highway Infrastructure Limited (HIL) has signed a contract worth ₹1.96 crore with Atal Indore City Transport Services Limited (AICTSL) for setting up electric bus charging infrastructure at Nayta Mundla, Indore.
The project falls under the Government of India’s PM E-Bus Seva scheme, which aims to promote electric mobility in urban transport systems. The contract was signed on October 15, 2025, and officially confirmed on October 28, 2025.
As per the agreement, the company will complete the project within four months and will provide 3% performance security in the form of a Term Deposit Receipt along with an additional 13% performance bank guarantee.
Highway Infrastructure Limited clarified that this is a domestic contract with no involvement of promoters or promoter group companies, and it does not fall under related party transactions.
The company operates in toll collection, EPC infrastructure development, and real estate construction. It is among the few toll operators implementing Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology and digital payment systems on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.
As of August 31, 2024, the company had completed 63 EPC projects, with 20 projects currently under execution.
Originally founded in 1995 as M/s Highway Enterprises, the firm became Highway Infrastructure Private Limited in 2006 and was converted into a public company in 2018. The company successfully completed its IPO in August 2025 and is now listed on both BSE and NSE.
