In a major move to strengthen its presence in India’s quick-service restaurant industry, Inspira Global has lined up ₹1,800 crore in private credit financing to fund the acquisition of a controlling stake in Restaurant Brands Asia, the operator of Burger King in India.
The transaction is being executed through Lenexis Foodworks, which owns and operates quick-service restaurant brands such as Chinese Wok, Big Bowl and The Momo Co..

According to sources, the company is expected to secure the remaining ₹800 crore through additional private credit funding later this month.
Inspira Global is owned by Aayush Madhusudan Agrawal and Madhusudan Agrawal, members of the Ajanta Pharma promoter family. The proposed deal is set to significantly expand the group’s footprint in India’s fast-growing QSR market through ownership of the Burger King India business.
