ITC has expanded its beverages portfolio with the launch of B Natural Coconut Cola, marking its entry into India's premium carbonated soft drinks segment. The new beverage, made with tender coconut water, will debut on quick commerce platforms before being rolled out across wider retail channels.

The launch signals ITC's intent to strengthen its presence in the fast-growing premium and healthier beverages space. The company also plans to expand its carbonated drinks portfolio with additional flavours, variants and pack sizes, reflecting its broader strategy to tap into India's rapidly growing low and no-sugar beverage market.

Industry estimates suggest the segment's share of overall soft drink sales has grown significantly, rising to nearly 30% in CY25 from around 5% in CY20, driven by increasing consumer preference for healthier alternatives.

ITC's latest foray builds on its continued investments in the FMCG business, where it has invested approximately Rs. 3,400 crore over the past five years to strengthen manufacturing capacity and expand its product portfolio. As the company enters another high-growth category, its ability to build scale, strengthen distribution and capture market share in an intensely competitive segment will be closely watched.
