Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM), the electric vehicle division of Jupiter Wagons Limited, has expanded its retail network by opening five new showrooms in New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Ahmedabad, and Pune. With these additions, JEM now has a presence in seven cities, including its existing outlets in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
The new showrooms will showcase the company’s flagship electric light commercial vehicle, the JEM TEZ, which offers a range of over 300 km, 80 kW motor power, and 23% gradeability. Customers can also book test drives and receive personalized consultations at these locations.
The company has chosen the new cities strategically, focusing on areas with strong logistics infrastructure and high EV adoption rates. The expansion primarily targets delivery, logistics, and transport businesses.
Vivek Lohia, Managing Director of Jupiter Group, stated that launching five showrooms simultaneously reflects the company’s commitment to building a strong national presence. He added that new showrooms will soon open in Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
To enhance customer convenience, JEM has partnered with Porter, Pulse Energy, Battwheel, Automovill, and Tapfin for charging support, financing, and after-sales services. The company also runs the JEM Udaan Program, which helps vehicle owners and drivers with business support.
Jupiter Wagons Limited manufactures freight wagons, locomotives, and commercial vehicles, with production facilities located in Kolkata, Jamshedpur, Indore, Jabalpur, and Aurangabad.
