Kokoy Launches Cafe in Gurugram, Enters Premium All-Day Dining Segment
Kokoy, a cafe brand positioning itself around comfort-led dining and specialty coffee, has opened a new outlet in Gurugram at Plot 703, opposite Ansal Plaza, Sector 23, Haryana.

The launch marks the brand’s entry into a key NCR micro-market as it looks to build physical spaces centred on community-oriented cafe dining.

The Gurugram outlet has been designed as an all-day cafe format, catering to customers across morning, afternoon, and evening dayparts. The concept focuses on prolonged dwell time with a menu and layout intended to support informal meetings, individual work sessions and relaxed social dining. This aligns with the growing demand for neighbourhood cafés that function as extended living and work spaces rather than quick-service outlets.

Kokoy’s offering is anchored in its coffee programme, which uses Chikmagalur-sourced beans. The café serves a range of classic brews including Espresso, Americano, Doppio and French Press with roast customisation available. The beverage menu also includes signature coffee-based drinks such as Cran Cran Coffee, Coffee Tonic and Cheese Whip Cappuccino, along with a Matcha Bar, smoothies, shakes, frappes, affogato options and non-coffee beverages, allowing the brand to cater to a wide consumer base beyond regular coffee drinkers.

The food menu follows an all-day comfort dining approach with global influences. Breakfast is served from 8 AM to 12 noon and includes vegetarian breakfast platters, egg-based dishes, cottage cheese bhurji with maska bun, pancakes, waffles, overnight oats and a selection of vegan and gluten-free options. This reflects a strategy to address both traditional breakfast consumers and health-focused urban diners.

Salads form a dedicated category on the menu, featuring vegetarian and chicken-based protein bowls, BBQ chicken salads, quinoa bowls, Mexican-style corn preparations and a Caesar Cardini option. These are positioned as balanced meals rather than side offerings, aligning with the increasing preference for lighter yet filling lunch options.

The cafe also offers a range of sandwiches including wild mushroom grilled cheese, piri piri chicken, farmer’s market melt and chicken jalapeño cheese. Burger options include the Masala Aloo Press Burger and the Farm House Veggie Burger, catering to consumers seeking familiar formats with local and vegetarian-friendly variations.

Expanding its global menu positioning, Kokoy includes Mexican-inspired dishes alongside Italian staples such as wood-fired pizzas, pastas, lasagnas, risottos and ravioli. This multi-cuisine approach allows the cafe to function as a single-stop dining option across different meal occasions.

With the Gurugram opening, Kokoy enters a competitive cafe and casual dining market, where brands are increasingly differentiating themselves through menu breadth, specialty coffee and spaces designed for longer customer engagement. The launch reflects a broader industry trend of cafés evolving into full-day dining destinations supported by strong beverage-led identities.
