KRAFTON India has launched Cohort 4 of the KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator (KIGI) with applications opening September 22, 2026. Launched in 2023, KIGI provides selected studios with funding, mentorship from industry experts in India, South Korea and other markets and access to global platforms.
Unlike previous cohorts, KIGI Cohort 4 extends support to games further along in development, alongside the early-stage ideas and first-time teams it has always backed. For mobile games, this includes projects already in beta or soft launch; for PC games, this includes titles with a live Steam demo drawing community traction.
KIGI Cohort 3, announced in April 2026 from a pool of about 1,000 applications, added four studios to the program: Xod Games Studio, EvolX Games, Ether Games and RedDevil Studio. Studios from KIGI Cohort 1 have achieved successful soft launches, while Cohort 2 studio Singular Scheme’s title Frontier Paladin became the first PC game from the incubator to launch on Steam, on April 24, 2026.
“India is seeing strong momentum in game development, with more creators building for global audiences at every stage of their journey. Through KIGI, we aim to support this growth by meeting developers where they are,” said Sean Hyunil Sohn, CEO, KRAFTON India.
