Mumbai’s café scene welcomed a fresh splash of purple as Lavender Bakery & Desserts opened its third outlet in Vile Parle East, strengthening the brand’s growing presence across the city. The launch marks another milestone for the homegrown dessert label, widely recognised as Mumbai’s first lavender-themed café.
After drawing strong patronage at its Kandivali East and Versova locations, the brand has now set its sights on the eastern suburbs. The new outlet, located on Chittaranjan Road, brings with it the same calming aesthetic and handcrafted offerings that have helped Lavender Bakery & Desserts build a loyal following.
Staying true to its identity, the Vile Parle café features soothing lavender-hued interiors designed to offer guests a peaceful break from the city’s fast pace. The menu showcases the brand’s popular desserts, artisanal baked goods, and specialty coffees, all crafted with an emphasis on quality and creativity.
Founder Raunak Suvarna said the expansion was driven by the enthusiastic response from customers at earlier outlets, adding that the brand’s vision has always been to create a dessert-focused space that feels warm, welcoming, and distinctive.
Timed with a December 24 opening, the new café arrives as a festive-season treat for Mumbai’s food lovers, underlining Lavender Bakery & Desserts’ ambition to steadily grow while preserving its signature charm.
