Lumio, operated by Circuit House Technologies, has raised USD 12 million (approximately INR 115 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Blume Ventures with continued participation from Stellaris Venture Partners and 3one4 Capital. The funds will support research and development, expansion into new product categories, software development and a wider physical retail presence.
Founded by Raghu Reddy, former Chief Business Officer at Xiaomi India, and Kailash Sankaranarayanan, former Senior Director at Flipkart, Lumio develops home entertainment products combining hardware and proprietary software for Indian consumers.
The company crossed INR 100 crore in sales within 13 months of its commercial launch. It serves more than 35,000 households across over 5,000 pin codes with nearly half of its buyers upgrading from established global brands.
Lumio began with Vision Smart TVs and has expanded into Arc projectors and Aura speakers. It has also developed TLDR and Project Neo, an AI-powered content discovery platform currently in public beta across nine Indian languages. The company said it has filed multiple patent applications related to its technology.
The company is also expanding its customer support infrastructure, which includes more than 300 service centres. Its stated coverage extends to over 19,000 pin codes.
The fresh capital will support product development and improvements across manufacturing quality, delivery and after-sales service as Lumio expands into additional categories and retail channels.
