Reinforcing leadership continuity at its top level, Devyani International, the operator of KFC India and Pizza Hut India, has approved the reappointment of Manish Dawar as Whole-Time Director, President and CEO for a further three-year term.
The decision was taken at the company’s Board meeting held on 15 May 2026 and will be subject to shareholder approval at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting. As per the regulatory filing, Dawar’s new term will commence on 17 February 2027.
Dawar has been associated with Devyani International since 2021 and was elevated from Chief Financial Officer to CEO earlier this year. Over the course of his career, he has worked across consumer goods, retail and telecom sectors, including roles at Hindustan Unilever, Reebok India, Reckitt Benckiser, Vedanta, and Vodafone India.
Alongside this reappointment, the company also announced key leadership changes across its India and international businesses. has appointed Gaurav Bhatnagar as Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer for India, effective 25 May 2026, while Pradeep Das has been redesignated as Chief Growth and International Business Officer from the same date.
Both executives will continue as part of the senior management team as the company strengthens its operational capabilities and accelerates its international expansion strategy.
