Electric two-wheeler solutions provider Motovolt Mobility has taken a significant step in its eastern India expansion by opening its first exclusive dealership in Bihar. The new outlet is located at Prism Complex in Chitkohra, Patna, and is operated by Prism Motocorp.
Spread across 1,800 square feet, the dealership showcases Motovolt’s complete product portfolio. This includes KIVO for daily commuters, HUM for cargo and heavy-duty applications, URBN for urban riders, and high-speed e-scooters M7 and M7 Lite.
The expansion comes amid growing adoption of electric mobility in Patna, driven by lower total cost of ownership compared to conventional ICE vehicles and supportive state government incentives.
Tushar Choudhary, Founder and CEO of Motovolt Mobility, said the company aims to deliver sustainable mobility solutions across India through innovative products. He added that the new dealership will offer customers access to electric vehicles backed by strong after-sales support.
Jay Prakash Prasad, Managing Director of Prism Motocorp, said the partnership with Motovolt will help bring affordable and accessible electric mobility solutions to consumers in Patna. He highlighted Bihar’s rapidly developing EV ecosystem as a key factor behind the dealership launch.
Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Kolkata, Motovolt Mobility manufactures electric cycles, e-mopeds and scooters tailored for Indian conditions. The company claims to have delivered over 32,000 vehicles to date, which have collectively clocked more than 65 million kilometres, resulting in fuel savings of around 1.7 million litres and a reduction of approximately 3.71 million kilograms of carbon emissions.
