Moving Tech Innovations, the parent company of ride-hailing platform Namma Yatri, has acquired Netherlands-based Automicle Holding BV as part of its plans to expand internationally. The acquisition marks the company’s entry into the European market.
The Bengaluru-based firm said it aims to introduce its zero-commission, community-led mobility model in Europe. By leveraging Automicle’s existing presence, Moving Tech plans to scale its services while continuing to collaborate with local transport systems and city-level stakeholders.
Moving Tech operates several mobility platforms, including Namma Yatri, Yatri Sathi and Bharat Taxi. Its business model connects drivers directly with users without charging commissions a structure it says supports better earnings for drivers.
According to the company, the acquisition will help extend its open mobility framework to European cities, where issues such as high platform fees and fragmented transport networks remain common.
Moving Tech reports that its platforms have facilitated more than 150 million trips and enabled driver earnings exceeding INR 2,500 crore. Namma Yatri, one of its key services, currently operates in cities including Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, and Chennai, offering direct connections between riders and drivers.
The development follows a recent pre-Series A extension round in which Namma Yatri raised INR 39.75 crore, led by investors including Juspay founder Vimal Kumar.
