EV startup Oben Electric has launched its new electric motorcycle model, Rorr EZ Sigma. The company has set the starting price at ₹1.29 lakh, which includes a discount of ₹17,000. Meanwhile, the Rorr EZ model is priced from ₹1.19 lakh with an offer of ₹20,000.
To boost its sales channels, the company has partnered with Flipkart, making its motorcycles available online in addition to its existing showroom network. Customers will now be able to purchase the models through Flipkart’s delivery system as well as physical outlets.
The Rorr EZ Sigma comes with two battery options — 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh — delivering a range of up to 175 km on a single charge as per the Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) standards. The motorcycle can achieve a top speed of 95 km/h and accelerates from 0–40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds.
Key features include three riding modes, LFP battery technology, reverse mode, a 5-inch color display with navigation, and a new Electric Red color option. The seat has also been redesigned for improved ergonomics.
Currently, Oben Electric operates over 50 showrooms across cities such as Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune, Jaipur, and Hyderabad. The company aims to expand its network to 150 showrooms across 100 cities by the end of the current financial year.
Founded in August 2020, Oben Electric runs a Bengaluru-based manufacturing facility with an annual production capacity of 100,000 units. The company also holds over 25 patents for its technology and components.
With India’s electric two-wheeler market growing rapidly, this launch positions Oben Electric as a competitive player offering urban commuters an affordable alternative to petrol-powered vehicles.
