Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer Oben Electric has announced plans to expand its retail footprint in Delhi-NCR with over 20 new showrooms by the end of FY26. The move is part of the company’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in North India, where it currently operates 18 showrooms across Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.
The expansion follows strong customer response to the recently launched Rorr EZ Sigma, a commuter-focused electric motorcycle priced from ₹1.27 lakh. The bike comes with 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh battery options, offering up to 175 km range, three ride modes (Eco, City, Havoc), a top speed of 95 km/h, a 5-inch TFT display, reverse mode, and Oben’s proprietary LFP battery technology, which is known for higher durability and heat resistance. Customers can purchase the bike through Oben’s retail network or via Amazon.
Currently, Oben Electric operates 50 retail and service outlets across India, with a target of expanding this network to 150 outlets by the end of the financial year. In North India alone, the company plans to set up more than 70 showrooms to cover all major urban centers.
To enhance customer experience, Oben Electric has also introduced 24/7 customer support, reporting a 90% resolution rate for service requests within 72 hours. According to the company, North India has emerged as one of its strongest markets and will play a key role in its long-term growth strategy.
Founded with a focus on indigenous research and development, Oben Electric emphasizes localized design and innovation tailored to Indian riding conditions.
