Playaza, the family entertainment arm of the Malabar Group, has announced a major expansion in Kerala with the grand launch of two new world-class Family Entertainment Centres (FECs) in Kochi and Thrissur, reinforcing the state’s growing appetite for premium leisure destinations.
The back-to-back launches, located at Centre Square Mall, Kochi, and HiLITE Mall, Thrissur, represent a combined investment of ₹38 crore and mark a significant milestone in Playaza’s growth strategy.
At Centre Square Mall, Kochi, Playaza has unveiled a 20,000 sq. ft., two-level entertainment destination offering a wide range of attractions. These include arcade and redemption games, indoor thrill rides, an ND theatre, bowling lanes, soft play zones for children, immersive VR experiences, and dedicated birthday party areas designed for family celebrations.
Meanwhile, the HiLITE Mall, Thrissur outlet is Playaza’s largest centre in the region, spread across 20,000 sq. ft. The facility features indoor thrill rides, Thrissur’s first spinning roller coaster, a Ferris wheel, bowling, an ND theatre, and more than 100 arcade and amusement games, positioning it as a landmark entertainment destination for the city.
Playaza said that all attractions across both centres have been sourced from leading international manufacturers and are built to meet global standards of safety, quality, and hygiene, with a focus on creating memorable and inclusive family entertainment experiences.
