POPES’ Southwest Cantina Debuts in Gurugram

Founded by seasoned restaurateur Swadeep Popli, the venue combines colourful design elements, warm lighting and an energetic atmosphere to create a setting that is both contemporary and globally familiar.

The interiors feature rustic roadhouse influences blended with Mexican accents, including earthy palettes, handcrafted décor, and soft neon highlights. The design reflects an understanding of the modern NCR diner’s preferences good food, strong drinks, and a relaxed vibe that encourages repeat visits.

The menu showcases Mexican staples alongside American Southwest comfort classics. Guests can expect slow-cooked meats, house-made salsas, hand-pressed tortillas, smoky grills, bold spices, hearty burgers, wings, and New York New Jersey style pizzas. At the bar, tequila and mezcal lead the beverage programme, complemented by cocktails built on clean, bold American craft-bar techniques. The focus remains on flavour-forward, easy-sipping drinks rather than dramatic presentations.
