Prestige Group is set to introduce India’s first dedicated athleisure mall with the launch of Forum North Bangalore Mall near the Bengaluru airport in 2027, marking a new direction in experiential and lifestyle-led retail development, as shared by the brand on social media.
Spread across nearly 8 lakh sq ft, the upcoming retail destination will allocate close to one-third of its total space to sports, fitness and athleisure brands, reflecting the growing consumer shift toward wellness-driven lifestyles and active fashion categories. The mall will also feature a curated mix of food and beverage outlets, gaming zones and a full-scale sports arena aimed at creating an immersive lifestyle and entertainment hub.
According to Forum Malls CEO Muhammad Ali, the project is designed to align with changing consumer behaviour and the evolving retail scene. “We’re not just witnessing the change in retail, we’re shaping it. This mall is designed around movement, style and modern living,” he said.
The development further strengthens Bengaluru’s position as a key market for innovative retail concepts, particularly as demand for athleisure and wellness-oriented experiences continues to rise among urban consumers.
With a growing preference for fitness-led lifestyles and performance fashion, the project is expected to attract leading global and domestic sportswear, sneaker and active lifestyle brands, while also redefining how retail spaces integrate shopping, recreation and community engagement.
