Reliance Retail has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Vineet Jain as Chief Operating Officer for its Fashion & Lifestyle Business.
Jain will oversee operations across the business, focusing on operational excellence, customer experience, business development, network expansion and asset productivity. His mandate will also include supporting the business in its next phase of sustainable and profitable growth.
With nearly three decades of experience in retail, Jain has played a key role in building and scaling large format businesses across multiple consumer categories.
Prior to joining Reliance Retail, Jain served as Chief Operating Officer at V Mart Retail. He previously spent more than 17 years with Future Group, where he held several senior leadership positions, including CEO for North India.
At Future Group, Jain was involved in the expansion of major retail formats including Big Bazaar, Food Bazaar and FBB. He also contributed to the development of the Big Bazaar GEN NXT format and led the turnaround of businesses such as Easyday and Big Apple.
Earlier, Jain was part of the founding leadership team at Vishal Retail, now Vishal Mega Mart. He began his career in the textile and financial services sectors, gaining experience across business operations and finance.
