Revolt Motors has launched its new electric motorcycle, the RVX, in the Indian market at an introductory ex-showroom price of 1.24 lakh, inclusive of applicable PM E-DRIVE incentives. The company said the introductory price is available for a limited period, and the motorcycle will be retailed through its network of more than 200 dealerships across the country.
According to the company, customers in Delhi will be able to purchase the RVX at an effective ex-showroom price of ₹94,990 after the implementation of the new Delhi EV Policy and applicable incentives.
The RVX is powered by a 4 kW mid-drive permanent magnet synchronous motor, delivering a peak output of 5.3 kW and up to 230 Nm of torque at the wheel. Revolt claims the motorcycle can accelerate from 0–40 kmph in just 3.9 seconds and achieve a top speed of 90 kmph in Boost mode.
The motorcycle features a 3.24 kWh removable NMC battery pack, offering a claimed IDC-certified range of 160 km on a single charge. With the fast charger, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in just 80 minutes, the company said.
The RVX comes equipped with upside-down front forks, a rear mono-shock suspension, and four riding modes—Boost, Sport, City, and Eco. It also features a 3.5-inch IP67-rated display, Bluetooth connectivity, over-the-air (OTA) updates, geo-fencing, hill-hold assist, reverse mode, walk assist, vehicle locator, call and message alerts, and an immobiliser.
Speaking at the launch, Anjali Rattan, Chairperson of RattanIndia Enterprises, said that India's younger generation is ambitious, optimistic, and expects technology to do more than solve problems. According to her, the RVX has been designed to inspire riders while reflecting their aspirations and lifestyle.
Alongside the launch, Revolt Motors also unveiled its new brand campaign, "India Karega Revolt," featuring brand ambassador Hardik Pandya. The company said the campaign aims to encourage the next generation of riders to embrace electric two-wheelers.
