Sayaji Kolhapur has announced the appointment of Yogesh Kumar as its new Food & Beverage Manager, adding an experienced hospitality professional to its senior leadership team. With over 17 years of experience in Food and Beverage operations, the appointment is aimed at strengthening operational performance and service delivery at the property.
Kumar brings a strong background in managing Food and Beverage functions across leading hotel brands such as Radisson, Park Plaza, and Sarovar Hotels. His career also includes international exposure in Saint Kitts and Nevis, West Indies, where he worked across multiple dining formats, large banqueting setups, and high-volume service operations, building hands-on expertise in diverse operational environments.

Kumar is known for his capabilities in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, profit and loss management, cost control, and revenue optimisation. Over the years, he has overseen restaurants, bars, banquet operations, destination events, and large-scale functions, with a consistent focus on operational efficiency and business outcomes.
Before moving to Kolhapur, Kumar was associated with Sayaji Udaipur Resort & Spa. During his tenure, the property received recognition from Forbes and Vogue. The resort also hosted a destination wedding that was featured in Vogue, further strengthening its presence in the luxury wedding segment under his leadership.
In his new role at Sayaji Kolhapur, Kumar will be responsible for driving the overall strategy and performance of the Food & Beverage department. His mandate includes revenue growth, cost management, team development, and ensuring consistent delivery of dining experiences aligned with Sayaji’s operational benchmarks.
