Tanishq, India’s largest jewellery brand from the Tata Group, strengthened its global luxury credentials with its fourth consecutive showcase at Paris Couture Week 2026, unveiling its high-jewellery Desert Diamonds collection in collaboration with renowned couturier Rahul Mishra.
Marking a key milestone in its international journey, the showcase positioned Tanishq alongside leading global luxury maisons on one of fashion’s most influential stages. The presentation focused exclusively on Desert Diamonds rare, naturally coloured diamonds formed over millennia and celebrated for their distinctive hues ranging from warm whites and honey tones to deep whiskey and sunset browns.
The collection highlighted the origin and individuality of natural diamonds, drawing inspiration from desert landscapes and the elemental forces that shape the earth. Crafted into bold, sculptural silhouettes, the jewellery reflected both strength and subtlety, aligning closely with Mishra’s Spring 2026 couture collection, Alchemy, which explores creation through the classical elements of air, fire, water, earth and space.
Tanishq said the collaboration underscores its design-led approach to high jewellery and its ambition to build a globally aspirational luxury identity rooted in Indian craftsmanship. Each piece showcased in Paris involved extensive design development, intricate settings and hundreds of hours of artisanal work.
Following a successful launch in the US, Tanishq is now introducing Desert Diamonds to the Indian market, offering consumers access to rare natural diamonds defined by provenance, individuality and understated elegance. The collection has been developed in collaboration with De Beers Group, reinforcing a shared focus on authenticity, craftsmanship and the enduring value of natural diamonds.
Executives from Tanishq, De Beers and Rahul Mishra said the Paris Couture Week showcase represents a convergence of couture, high jewellery and Indian artistry, presenting a contemporary narrative that is both globally relevant and deeply rooted in nature and heritage.
