US-based electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has inaugurated its second showroom in India at Worldmark 2, Aerocity, Delhi. This comes after the opening of its first showroom in BKC, Mumbai, on July 15, 2025. Spanning 8,200 sq ft, the showroom will serve as a key hub for customers in the National Capital Region. Located close to the airport, embassies, and corporate offices, the location provides Tesla with strategic exposure to its target audience.
The basement parking houses four V4 Superchargers, and Tesla plans to add more in other Delhi-NCR locations such as Saket, Noida, and Horizon Center. Following the recent launch of its first Supercharger in Mumbai, the company will also expand its charging network to eight more cities, including Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Jaipur.
The V4 Superchargers are equipped with DC chargers, complemented by four destination charging stalls with AC chargers. These superchargers can deliver peak charging speeds of 250 kW at ₹24/kW, while the 11 kW AC charging speed is priced at ₹11/kW. Using these, the newly introduced Tesla Model Y can gain up to 267 km of range in just 15 minutes — enough for five round trips between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and the Gateway of India.
Tesla EV owners can connect directly to the charger and check availability through the Tesla app, which also tracks charging progress, sends notifications, and enables payment.
In India, the Tesla Model Y is offered in two variants — RWD (Rear-Wheel Drive) and Long-Range RWD. The RWD variant starts at ₹59.89 lakh, while the Long-Range version is priced at ₹67.89 lakh. On-road prices are ₹61.07 lakh and ₹69.15 lakh respectively. Buyers of the RWD model can choose between a 60 kWh battery pack with a WLTP range of 500 km or a larger 75 kWh battery pack, with the Long-Range model offering up to 622 km on a full charge.
