The Capitalist Ventures a Hyderabad-based entrepreneurial venture company has raised INR 10 crore in a seed funding round from angel investors.
Founded in 2025 by Satyaram Nadimpalli, The Capitalist Ventures operates two Verticals: The Plug a community-driven sneaker and streetwear platform and The Capitalist Concierge a private luxury concierge service catering to HNIs and UHNIs seeking access to exclusive collectibles.
The company says it will use the fresh capital to expand the company’s luxury product portfolio, accelerate customer acquisition and brand-building initiatives and strengthen operational infrastructure to support its next phase of growth.
“This funding marks a meaningful milestone in our journey and serves as a strong vote of confidence in what we are building. India’s luxury consumer is becoming increasingly sophisticated, discerning, and demanding of genuine access, not just products. This capital will enable us to deepen our inventory, expand our reach and continue building the trust-led ecosystem that sets us apart,” Nadimpalli said in a statement.
The company competes with the likes of Indulge Global, Red Beryl and Quintessentially.
“India is entering a decisive phase in luxury consumption, where demand is no longer limited by aspiration but by access, trust and execution. The Capitalist Ventures has built a business that addresses this gap with precision, combining deep market understanding with a highly disciplined operating model. What makes this opportunity compelling is its ability to capture value at the intersection of scarcity, culture and premium commerce. As the luxury ecosystem in India matures, businesses that can institutionalize trust and unlock access will define the next phase of growth and The Capitalist Ventures is strongly positioned to lead that shift.”, M Sriram, lead investor in the seed round, added.
