Expanding its retail footprint in southern India, Japanese apparel retailer UNIQLO has launched its third store in Bengaluru at Phoenix Marketcity on June 5, 2026. Spanning nearly 21,000 sq ft, the outlet is the brand's largest store in the city so far.
The new store offers UNIQLO's complete LifeWear collection across men's, women's and children's categories, alongside its signature fabric technology lines, AIRism and HEATTECH. It also houses a UTme! customisation zone featuring designs created in collaboration with local talent, including Bengaluru-based artist Archana Pereira.
To mark the launch, the first 200 customers received a Round Mini Shoulder Bag and complimentary coffee from Pauls. Additionally, shoppers spending ₹6,000 or more were gifted a tote bag designed by Pereira.
“Customers in Bengaluru have embraced UNIQLO LifeWear with great warmth and we’re proud to deepen our connection with the city through this new store. Our endeavour is to make thoughtfully designed everyday essentials more accessible, while creating a shopping experience that fits seamlessly into customers’ daily lives,” said Kenji Inoue, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, UNIQLO India.
The new outlet has been designed to offer an intuitive and immersive shopping experience, combining a contemporary retail environment with UNIQLO's distinctive brand aesthetics.
