Westlife Foodworld Limited has commenced FY27 on a positive note, posting double digit revenue growth, improved same store sales and sustained outlet expansion across its McDonald's network in West and South India, operated through Hardcastle Restaurants Pvt. Ltd.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, the company reported revenue of Rs 7.36 billion, up 12 percent year on year. The growth was driven by higher guest traffic and sustained demand for its value driven menu offerings. Same Store Sales Growth (SSSG) improved to 4.3 percent, with both May and June recording mid single digit growth.
Consumer demand remained resilient across dine in, takeaway and delivery channels. Dine in and takeaway together contributed 59 percent of system sales, while McDelivery continued to witness healthy momentum and remained an important growth driver. As of June 30, 2026, the company operated 482 restaurants across 79 cities and remains on track to achieve its target of 580 to 630 outlets by December 2027.
Operating EBITDA rose 11 percent year on year to Rs 946 million, while Cash PAT stood at Rs 517 million, accounting for 7 percent of sales. Restaurant Operating Margin was 18.6 percent and Operating EBITDA margin came in at 12.9 percent.
According to the company, its affordability focused strategy continued to strengthen customer engagement during the quarter. The Rs 99 Everyday Value platform remained a key driver of guest traffic, while McDonald's also rolled out its "Let's Family at McD" campaign to commemorate 30 years of the brand's presence in India.

Technology continued to play a central role in Westlife Foodworld's growth strategy during the quarter, with digital platforms accounting for nearly three quarters of total sales. Digital channels contributed approximately 74 percent of revenue, while the McDonald's app ecosystem surpassed 55 million cumulative downloads. Monthly active users on the platform exceeded 3.7 million during the quarter.
The company's performance underscores the sustained momentum in India's organised quick service restaurant sector, where operators are increasingly leveraging value offerings, digital engagement and aggressive network expansion to drive customer acquisition and long term growth.
