Yokohama India has introduced its GEOLANDAR A/T tyre for SUVs and utility vehicles with a new white-letter design in the Indian market. The Made-in-India 15-inch GEOLANDAR A/T is now available with the Outline White Letter design. According to the company, the new styling gives the tyre a bolder and more distinctive sidewall appearance.
The GEOLANDAR A/T has been designed for SUV owners who use their vehicles for daily city driving as well as weekend trips, road trips and light off-road activities. The white lettering creates a stronger contrast on the sidewall and adds a more rugged and adventure-focused look to the overall vehicle.
The 15-inch GEOLANDAR A/T is suitable for a range of SUVs and utility vehicles, including the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and Mahindra Bolero. According to the company, the white-letter design further enhances the side profile of these vehicles.
Commenting on the launch, Gaurav Mahajan, Head of Marketing and OE Sales, Yokohama India, said that driving for today's SUV owners is no longer limited to getting from one place to another. Vehicles increasingly reflect their owners' individuality, sense of adventure and lifestyle. He added that the GEOLANDAR A/T has been developed to complement this mindset and cater to customers looking for a rugged and distinctive identity for their SUVs.
The GEOLANDAR A/T was previously available in India through imports. It is now being manufactured at Yokohama India's manufacturing facility in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The 15-inch Outline White Letter variant is currently available in two sizes. The company plans to expand the range with locally produced 16-inch to 18-inch sizes in 2027.
