Youdha to Expand Cargo and Passenger EV Portfolio
Youdha has manufactured its 1,000th ePod electric three-wheeler and plans to expand its cargo and passenger vehicle portfolio. The company will also strengthen its dealer and service network and explore new markets in Southern India and overseas.

Youdha, the electric commercial mobility brand of Zuperia Auto Private Limited, has manufactured its 1,000th ePod electric three-wheeler. The company said the milestone marks an important step in its growth journey in India. It plans to expand its product portfolio across cargo and passenger segments, strengthen its dealer and service network, and enter markets in Southern India. The company is also exploring business opportunities outside India, although it has not disclosed any specific markets or timelines.

Youdha CEO Ayush Lohia said the company achieved the milestone with the support of its customers, dealers, and financing partners. He described the 1,000-unit mark as a foundation for future growth rather than an endpoint. Going forward, the company aims to build long-term relationships with customers and channel partners while expanding its distribution infrastructure.

Electric three-wheelers have become an important segment of India's commercial mobility market. Lower fuel and maintenance costs compared with petrol and diesel vehicles have made them an attractive option for last-mile delivery, goods transportation, and short-distance passenger mobility. Government schemes such as FAME II have also supported the segment's adoption. Established players such as Mahindra Electric and Piaggio, along with newer entrants, are competing in the market. However, access to financing remains a challenge for many small business owners and individual vehicle operators.

Youdha  ePod electric three-wheeler is designed for commercial applications, including goods delivery and short-distance passenger transportation. Key factors influencing purchasing decisions in this segment include driving range, payload capacity, charging infrastructure availability, and after-sales service. The company has not publicly disclosed its production capacity or revenue figures. Following the 1,000-unit milestone, Youdha aims to expand its product portfolio, strengthen its dealer network, and increase its presence across Indian markets.
