1. Definition

Event Entrepreneur Capital & Scale Awards 2026
Organized By Entrepreneur India Media Pvt. Ltd.
Participant Any organization/company/individual that participates by applying for the Awards
Application Form The entry for the Award is determined by the completely filled-in form submitted by Participant. The Participant must apply online on the below mentioned Website.
Jury A group of experts identified by Awards Management for evaluation/review of the entries based on pre-defined evaluation parameters.
Terms and Conditions The terms governing the Awards, as may be amended from time to time by the Awards Management.

  • 1.1 By participating in the Awards, the Participant agrees to abide by and be bound by these Terms.
  • 1.2 These Terms may be modified without any prior written notification. The Participant is advised to regularly review these Terms uploaded on the Website. If there is any disagreement with any of the Terms and any amendments thereto, the Participant must not participate in the Awards.
  • 1.3 The Awards process, categories, and gratification thereof may be changed, modified, split, merged, increased, decreased, or cancelled by the Awards Management based on the number and quality of entries received.
  • 1.4 The Awards Management reserves the right to add or remove nominations in any category based on the quality of entries received in that category.
  • 1.5 If no Participants are found to be worthy of inclusion by the Awards Management, the Award may be cancelled. The decision of the Awards Management in this regard shall be final and binding, and no queries shall be entertained.
  • 1.6 All fees paid towards award nomination, application, processing, evaluation, jury assessment, and related services are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
  • 1.7 Once the payment is made, no refund shall be issued, irrespective of whether the application form is fully filled, partially filled, or not submitted at all, including but not limited to the following circumstances:
    • The applicant or organization does not win the Award or is not shortlisted
    • The application is rejected, disqualified, or found ineligible
    • The applicant withdraws the nomination at any stage
    • Incomplete, incorrect, or misleading information is submitted
    • Non-attendance at the award ceremony or related events
    • Any change in award category, jury process, evaluation criteria, or event format
    • Event rescheduling, venue change, or shift to a virtual or hybrid format

    By submitting the application and completing the payment, the applicant acknowledges, understands, and agrees to this No Refund Policy in its entirety.

2. Winner Selection Process

  • 2.1 Entries that meet the prescribed eligibility criteria shall be reviewed by the Awards Management’s editorial team and the Jury Panel. The decision of the Jury, as validated and moderated by the Awards Management, shall be final, binding, and conclusive.
  • 2.2 The shortlisted entries as well as the winning entries may be featured, published, or covered by the Awards Management, or a brief thereof may be displayed on the Website and/or any other platform or media, at the sole discretion of the Awards Management.
  • 2.3 No correspondence of whatsoever nature relating to the shortlisting of entries or the selection of winning entries shall be entertained.
  • 2.4 The Awards Management shall screen, present, or display the entries to the Jury in a format and manner deemed appropriate by the Awards Management.
  • 2.5 The Jury shall select the top finalists along with the winners for the Awards.

3. Winner Declaration

  • 3.1 The Awards Management reserves the right to offer or withdraw any of the prizes/rewards/gratification/awards as provided herein, at any point of time, including after they have been announced.
  • 3.2 Applicants who were winners in the previous edition(s) and are reapplying in the current edition under the same category and initiative must clearly highlight new innovations, initiatives, or achievements undertaken in the past one year as on the date of application.
  • 3.3 Awards Management shall have the liberty, but not the obligation, to publish information with respect to the submission/entries made by the Participants.
  • 3.4 Participants declare that the details furnished in the application form and supporting documents submitted for the awards are true, correct, and complete. In case any information is found to be false, misleading, or misrepresenting, the Participant shall be liable for all consequences including indemnifying the Awards Management for any losses or damages incurred.
  • 3.5 The Participant authorizes the Awards Management to use the content submitted as part of nomination/participation, in whole or in part, across trade publications, press releases, electronic and social media, websites, hyperlinks, or any other display format during or after the Awards.
  • 3.6 The Awards Management may, at its sole discretion, exclude a Participant from participating in any part of the Awards for reasons including but not limited to unfitness, inability to produce documentation, or any reason that may adversely impact the Awards. Awards Management is not obliged to notify unsuccessful Participants.
  • 3.7 The Awards Management shall not be responsible if communication with a winner is unsuccessful due to reasons including but not limited to:
    • a. Line busy
    • b. Network congestion
    • c. No response
    • d. Poor call quality
    • e. Number engaged
    • f. Call drop
    • g. Undelivered email
    • h. Any other reason beyond reasonable control
  • 3.8 Awards Management reserves the right to replace any winner who is disqualified, unable to participate, or breaches these Terms, with another eligible Participant.
  • 3.9 Awards Management will use the registered email ID to identify winners. Failure to provide valid identification may result in disqualification from winnings.
  • 3.10 Awards Management shall make reasonable efforts to contact winners; however, no guarantee is provided. In case of failure to contact, Management may proceed with the next eligible Participant.
  • 3.11 Awards Management shall have no liability towards any Participant unable to participate and may disqualify such Participant at its discretion.
  • 3.12 Management may replace any winner who is disqualified or unable to participate, even if such replacement Participant was previously eliminated.
  • 3.13 Any tampering with the Website, data, servers, or systems related to the Awards may result in revocation of prizes and/or legal action at the discretion of Awards Management.
  • 3.14 Awards Management will contact winners within 30 days of declaration to initiate prize registration, subject to availability and partner coordination.
  • 3.15 Winners will receive prize communication via registered email or Website. Prizes not claimed within 30 days shall be forfeited and the winner disqualified.
  • 3.16 Winners must submit attested copies of valid government-issued photo ID and any additional documents within the stipulated timeline.
  • 3.17 Prize delivery may be delayed due to delayed documentation or force majeure events including government restrictions.
  • 3.18 Winners agree not to hold Awards Management responsible for any delays, disputes, or claims arising out of the prize and shall indemnify Management against all such claims.
  • 3.19 Any disputes or claims arising out of prizes shall be addressed directly with the Awards Management.
  • 3.20 Awards Management may refuse to gratify winners in case of fraud, dishonesty, or non-entitlement under these Terms.
