Advent International to Invest USD 328.5 Mn in Yatharth Hospital
Advent International to invest USD 328.5 million in Yatharth Hospital for a 24.9% stake in India.


Advent International will invest INR 3,150 crore (USD 328.5 million) in Yatharth Hospital for a 24.9% stake, according to a regulatory filing. Shares of the Indian hospital operator rose as much as 8.6% to an all-time high of ₹1,067 following the announcement.

Under the agreement, Advent will acquire 31,974,177 shares, while Rasmalai Limited will hold a separate 24.87% stake post-completion. The transaction has been approved by shareholders and is subject to approval at an Extraordinary General Meeting scheduled for October 15, 2026.

Yatharth Hospitals was established in 2008 and operates primarily in northern India, running nine multi-specialty hospitals with about 2,800 operational beds, with plans to expand capacity to 3,250 beds. Following the investment, the founding Tyagi family will remain the company’s largest shareholder and continue to guide its long-term strategy alongside its leadership team.
