Aquapulse, an aquaculture technology startup, has raised INR 25 crore in an ongoing Series A funding round led by NABVENTURES through its AgriSURE Fund. The startup said the capital will be used to expand its farmer network, build an in-house processing facility and strengthen its technology stack.
Founded in 2022 by Abhishek Dwivedy and Abhilash Dwivedy, Aquapulse focuses on improving efficiency in the seafood value chain through a mix of infrastructure and digital tools. Its platform provides AI-based solutions to monitor pond conditions, assess disease risks and optimise feed usage.
The startup also offers post-harvest services such as grading, cold chain logistics and compliance support, while enabling real-time price discovery and assured offtake for farmers.
Aquapulse currently works with more than 6,000 farmers and plans to scale to over 15,000 across Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal, aiming to build an integrated pond-to-port supply chain to improve quality control, transparency and farmer incomes across the seafood ecosystem in India.
