Astrotalk has entered the unicorn club at a valuation of USD 1 billion through an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) buyback involving more than 100 employees, according to the company. This marks a threefold jump in valuation from USD 300 million in June 2024. The ESOP buyback is being funded through the company’s business profits.
Founded in 2017 by Puneet Gupta and Anmol Jain, the Noida-based company operates in astrology, spiritual services and commerce. It reported a revenue of INR 1,176 crore and profit before tax of INR 285 crore in FY25. Its current revenue run rate has crossed INR 2,500 crore.
Astrotalk is backed by investors such as Left Lane Capital and Elev8 Venture Partners. It has raised about USD 34 million in total funding to date.
The company has expanded into spiritual commerce through Astrotalk Store. The business recorded a daily gross merchandise value (GMV) run rate of around INR 1 crore and processed 1.6 million orders in 2025.
Astrotalk has also launched a separate gemstone platform offering precious and semi-precious stones, along with lab certification, astrology consultations and a replacement policy.
