India homegrown technology-first electric motorcycle manufacturer Avore Electric, a part of Samarth E-Mobility, has launched its first electric motorcycle, the Avore Electric EX (Elevated Experience). The EX series was unveiled by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. The motorcycle is available in three variants—EX 2S, EX 2, and EX 1—with a starting ex-showroom price of 1,24,999.
According to the company, the EX has been entirely developed in India and is designed around indigenous technology, intelligent engineering, and everyday practicality. Avore Electric's vision is to make intelligence the very foundation of the motorcycle rather than just an added feature. This philosophy is reflected in the brand's tagline, "Intelligence Beyond Motion."
Up to 260 km Range and Full Charge in 4 Hours
The Avore Electric EX is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) that minimizes dependence on rare-earth materials. Depending on the variant, the motor delivers 7.5 kW to 10.5 kW of peak power and 250 Nm of peak wheel torque.
EX 2S – IDC-certified range of 260 km, top speed of 114 km/h
EX 2 – IDC-certified range of 255 km, top speed of 100 km/h
EX 1 – IDC-certified range of 160 km, top speed of 100 km/h
All three variants are equipped with a 1500W onboard fast charger, allowing charging through a standard 5A or 15A household socket. The battery charges from 20% to 80% in approximately two hours, while a full 0–100% charge takes around four hours.
AI and Smart Connected Features
The Avore Electric EX features the company's proprietary AVORE SENSE operating system, AVA (Avore Vehicle Assistance), and Avore Synapse, an AI-powered smart platform that records ride statistics and rider insights.
The motorcycle also comes equipped with advanced features such as Apex Performance Mode, Syft Manual Gear Mode, PAM+ Park Assist, Guide-Me-Home Lights, Auto Indicator Cut-off, Welcome Lights, Beacon Tank Lighting, and an Ergo Fit Riding Triangle for enhanced rider comfort.
Focus on Safety and Indigenous Technology
According to the company, the EX platform has undergone more than 100,000 km of road testing, over 2,500 hours of dynamometer testing, and extensive rider validation across Indian conditions. The motorcycle complies with AIS-156 and AIS-038 safety standards and comes with a 5-year or 60,000 km battery warranty.
Over the past three years, Avore Electric has developed more than nine critical vehicle systems in-house at its Ahmedabad R&D centre, including the Battery Management System (BMS), battery pack, motor, motor controller, onboard charger, display system, and operating system. The company has also filed more than 120 intellectual property (IP) applications.
Sales to Begin Next Month
The EX 2S and EX 2 variants will be offered in Starlit Blue Dual Tone, Meteor Red Dual Tone, and Stellar Black Dual Tone colour options, while the EX 1 will be available in three single-tone colours.
The company said bookings have opened at ₹799, with showroom availability across major Indian cities beginning next month. Customer deliveries are expected to commence approximately two months later.
Speaking on the launch, Avore Electric Founder Priyank Rakholiya said the company spent three years on research, testing, and validation to deliver an electric motorcycle that combines global standards of safety and performance with indigenous technology for Indian customers.
