India’s fast-growing EV rental and mobility-tech platform Bijliride has launched its new campaign ‘EmpowHer’ on the occasion of Women’s Day. The initiative aims to recognize and celebrate women who are driving change within the electric mobility ecosystem while bringing forward their inspiring journeys. The campaign is built around the powerful message, “Because when she moves, the world moves.”
The campaign goes beyond symbolic recognition and highlights real women who are actively contributing across Bijliride’s network. From leadership and operations teams to on-road riders and fleet management professionals, the initiative showcases women who are playing important roles in shaping the company’s growing mobility ecosystem.
As India’s electric mobility sector continues to expand, women are steadily increasing their participation in last-mile delivery, fleet operations, and mobility services. Through EmpowHer, Bijliride aims to highlight stories of resilience, ambition, and financial independence, presenting electric mobility as a strong pathway for opportunity and empowerment.
The campaign focuses on several key areas, including highlighting real stories of women across Bijliride’s ecosystem, encouraging greater female participation in sustainable mobility, promoting financial independence through mobility-led livelihood opportunities, and strengthening the company’s commitment to building an inclusive and diverse workforce.
Commenting on the launch, Vishal Vikram, Chief Marketing Officer at Bijliride, said that EmpowHer reflects the transformation currently taking place within the EV ecosystem. He noted that women today are not just joining the mobility workforce but are actively shaping it. According to him, mobility represents more than transportation for Bijliride—it provides access to opportunity, income, and independence. The campaign recognizes that when women move forward, communities and cities progress with them.
With the EmpowHer campaign, Bijliride continues to align its business growth with social impact, reinforcing its belief that the future of urban mobility must be sustainable, accessible, and inclusive.
