Mumbai’s premium custom fashion label Bombay Shirt Company (BSC) has strengthened its presence in the city with the opening of a new flagship store, The Den, in Bandra West. This is the brand’s second major outlet in Mumbai.
Spread across 3,776 sq. ft. over two floors and a mezzanine, the new space is designed as a hybrid of retail and lifestyle experiences. Alongside BSC’s full product range including its winter collection, ready-to-wear line, and its hallmark made-to-measure shirting service—the store offers a lounge area, artisanal coffee in collaboration with Nandan Coffee, grooming services, and exclusive partnerships such as a bespoke formal footwear collection created with Trumpet Shoes.
Shoppers can browse a wide assortment of fabrics and receive guidance from in-house stylists, while an on-site master tailor provides detailed measurements for a fully personalized fit.
“We’re excited to unveil The Den at our new Bandra flagship — a space that represents the next evolution of the Bombay Shirt Company experience,” said founder Akshay Narvekar. “Our goal was to create more than a retail store; we wanted to build a true sanctuary for the modern Bandra man, bringing together craftsmanship, comfort, and community under one roof.”
Founded in 2012, BSC has built its brand by merging traditional tailoring with contemporary design and technology-led fit solutions. The launch of The Den marks another step in the company’s push toward experiential retail and its focus on elevating premium, personalized craftsmanship in India.
