Kitchen and lifestyle brand Cüraa has raised ₹40 crore in a Series A funding round led by 3one4 Capital. Existing investors Kae Capital, Lumikai and Better Capital also participated in the round. Investment banking firm ValueBridge Capital advised Cüraa on the fundraise.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its product portfolio, including new products across pre-cook and cooking categories. The funds will also be used to strengthen warehousing and supply chain infrastructure, expand its presence across D2C, marketplaces and quick commerce platforms, and hire senior leadership across key functions.
The fundraise comes as India’s kitchen products market is witnessing a shift in consumer preferences. Modern Indian consumers are increasingly looking for kitchen products that offer better performance, durability, useful design and quality while addressing the specific needs of Indian cooking.
According to the company, Cüraa has served more than 3 lakh households since its launch. Its monthly net revenue has grown 25 times since September 2024, while its products have an average rating of more than 4.5. The company has also recorded a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of over 70.
Cüraa was founded by Chef Sanjyot Keer and Neeraj Kumawat. Keer has spent more than a decade in the digital food ecosystem and built a large consumer community through Your Food Lab. Kumawat is focused on strengthening the company’s operations and scaling the business.
Commenting on the fundraise, Sanjyot Keer, Co-founder, Cüraa, said his experience of understanding how millions of Indians cook and the challenges they face in their kitchens inspired the creation of Cüraa. He added that the company is developing products designed to solve real cooking problems while offering performance, thoughtful design and everyday usability.
Neeraj Kumawat, Co-founder and CEO, Cüraa, said the company is building the brand for the long term. According to him, the fresh capital will help strengthen product development, supply chain, customer experience and distribution.
Anand Batra of 3one4 Capital said Cüraa has combined strong consumer trust with the operational capabilities required to scale a consumer appliances business. Salone Sehgal, Founder and Managing Partner, Lumikai, said the company has demonstrated the ability to convert creator credibility and consumer community into a trusted consumer business.
In its next phase, Cüraa will focus on developing products around Indian kitchen requirements, expanding across pre-cook and cooking categories, and strengthening its supply chain, product availability and customer service capabilities.
