Kabeer Biswas, former co-founder of Dunzo, is raising INR 102 crore (around USD 11 million) for his new consumer AI startup, M, marking his return to the startup ecosystem after his stint in quick commerce. The funding round is being led by Peak XV Partners with participation from Blume Ventures and Kunal Shah’s CRED (Dreamplug Technologies).
Regulatory filings reviewed by Entrackr show that the company’s board has approved the issuance of 54,956 Series Seed compulsorily convertible preference shares at INR 18,577 each to raise the planned capital.
Peak XV is set to invest INR 46.4 crore (USD 5 million), while Blume Ventures and CRED will contribute INR 37.12 crore (USD 4 million) and INR 18.56 crore (USD 2 million), respectively. The company has already received INR 83.53 crore (nearly USD 9 million) with the remaining funds expected to follow soon.
Founded in 2025 as Curious Digital Pvt Ltd by Biswas and Kartik Mishra, M is focused on building AI-driven consumer solutions. The startup aims to simplify household management by automating everyday decisions, coordination and services, according to its LinkedIn profile.
Following the allotment, Peak XV will hold a 15.47% stake, while Blume Ventures and CRED will own 12.37% and 6.19%, respectively. The founders will retain smaller individual stakes, alongside a significant holding through the PVK Family Trust.
The company has also created an employee stock ownership pool of 21.11%, indicating plans to attract talent as it scales operations in the competitive AI-driven services space.
