E3 Electric.Ai has started production of its E3 TRION electric scooter at its manufacturing facility in Hyderabad. According to the company, customer deliveries will begin in batches from October 7, 2026. The date also marks the company’s second anniversary.
The E3 TRION will be offered in three variants C1, C1X and C2 designed for youngsters, families and business users. The variants will be introduced in phases and will be available in six colour options Nova Blue, Teal Blue, Graphite Grey, Misty Green, Solar Red and Luna White.
According to E3 Electric.Ai, the E3 TRION has undergone an extensive development and validation programme focused on reliability, safety and durability. The programme included more than 550 Design Validation Plan (DVP) tests, along with accelerated durability testing and road trials across different terrains.
The E3 TRION underwent more than 550 DVP tests, including chassis dynamometer power testing, range testing and brake-pressure sensor validation. The company also conducted accelerated durability testing on a Cam Drum Test Rig with a 205kg payload.
The electric scooter was also subjected to water-wading tests at depths ranging from 100mm to 300mm at different speeds. It underwent heavy rainstorm and water-wash testing as well. In addition, the E3 TRION completed a 260km mixed-terrain round trip between Bengaluru and Hogenakkal, covering mountain roads, sharp bends, gradients and rough road surfaces.
Commenting on the start of production, E3 Electric.Ai Founder and CEO Sanjeev P. said the company’s engineering and validation programme was aimed at preparing the E3 TRION for customer use. According to him, with production now underway, the scooter has moved from the testing phase to customer deliveries. The first 100 customers will form the company founding-owner community.
The first 100 E3 TRION customers will receive an 8Y100K+ extended warranty, covering the battery and specified key components for eight years or 1 lakh kilometres, whichever comes first. They will also receive one year of E3 Wingman roadside assistance.
The company said the combined value of the offer is 6,500 for the C1 variant, which comes with a 2.3kWh battery, and ₹8,500 for the C1X and C2 variants, which use a 3kWh battery. The offer will be subject to the company’s terms and conditions.
With the start of production and customer deliveries, E3 Electric.Ai is expanding its presence in the electric two-wheeler segment. The company is targeting different customer groups through its three variants while focusing on product validation, reliability and after-sales support.
