InstaAstro raises USD 12M Series A led by Singularity AMC, Artha Venture Fund as revenue run-rate crosses INR 200 crore.

InstaAstro, a digital spiritual wellness platform, has raised USD 12 million in a Series A round led by Singularity AMC and Artha Venture Fund, with participation from the founders. The round comes as the company’s revenue run-rate crosses INR 200 crore (USD 21 million), five years after launching as a single-service astrology consultation app.

InstaAstro’s annual revenue rose from INR 52 crore (USD 5.47 million) in FY25 to INR 111.26 crore (USD 11.71 million) in FY26. Its registered user base has grown roughly 400% over the past two years to 12 million.

Founded in 2021 by Nitin Verma, InstaAstro has expanded from a single astrology app into a full-stack spiritual wellness platform serving users across 183 countries. It now hosts over 5,000 verified experts across astrology, tarot, numerology, and vastu, up from roughly 1,500 at its last round. International markets, driven largely by the Indian diaspora, contribute about 25% of revenue. Within India, Tier II and Tier III markets are the fastest-growing segment.

India’s astrology app market was valued at USD 163 million in 2024 and is projected to reach USD 1.8 billion by 2030, according to MarkNtel Advisors. Venture funding into India’s astrology apps rose from around USD 88,000 in 2015 to about USD 50 million in 2024 and India now has more than 1,400 religion-tech startups, per Tracxn.

The new capital will fund AI-led product development, including sentiment analysis for astrologer consultations and multilingual support, along with expansion of the company’s Pooja Seva and spiritual commerce offerings.

“We’re committed to building the world’s most trusted spiritual platform by prioritizing quality over quantity,” said Nitin Verma, Founder and CEO, InstaAstro. “This investment will help us strengthen our leadership in trusted astrology services, expand across regional and international markets and accelerate our online Pooja Seva and spiritual commerce offerings.”
