Leading electric vehicle manufacturer Komaki has launched its new MG Pro V and MG Pro+ electric scooters in India at introductory prices of INR 73,999 and INR 79,999, respectively. The company says the new models bring premium engineering to the mass market by offering an all-metal body, a feature rarely seen in this price segment.
Unlike most electric scooters that use fibre body panels, the MG Pro V and MG Pro+ feature a robust metal body designed to deliver greater durability, improved longevity, and a more premium riding experience. The MG Pro V offers a riding range of 90–100 km on a single charge, while the MG Pro+ delivers over 150 km of range. Both scooters are powered by a BLDC hub motor and LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery technology, ensuring reliable performance and lower maintenance.
The new scooters come equipped with a host of modern features, including mobile app connectivity for battery health and range monitoring, front disc brakes, telescopic suspension, an anti-theft lock, parking assist, a repair switch, and a spacious riding platform. The MG Pro+ also offers a larger boot space for added convenience.
Speaking on the launch, Gunjan Malhotra, Co-founder, Komaki Electric Vehicles, said the company aims to make premium-quality electric scooters more accessible. She noted that features such as a durable metal body and long-lasting LiFePO4 batteries have traditionally been available only in higher-priced models, but Komaki is now bringing them to a wider customer base. According to her, the new scooters are built to withstand Indian road conditions while delivering safety, reliability, and advanced technology.
With the launch of the MG Pro V and MG Pro+, Komaki has further strengthened its product portfolio. The company believes that by offering a combination of durability, advanced technology, and long-range performance at competitive prices, it is setting a new benchmark in India's affordable electric two-wheeler segment.
