Electric vehicle platform Lilypad is accelerating India’s EV adoption through its innovative Home Demo Service, which allows customers to experience electric vehicles right at their doorstep. This initiative is transforming the EV buying journey, making it more accessible, trustworthy, and engaging for consumers.

The company has been witnessing steady growth, recording an 8–10% month-on-month increase and selling 12–15 vehicles monthly through its online platform. Lilypad’s active fleet of 50 EVs collectively covers more than 100,000 km every month across the region, reflecting strong consumer interest in electric mobility.

A Lilypad spokesperson said, “Our Home Demo program bridges the gap between curiosity and commitment by bringing the EV experience directly to the customer. Buying an EV isn’t just a transaction — it’s a mindset shift. This blend of accessibility, trust, and convenience is helping us accelerate India’s EV transition one test ride at a time.”

Powered by WATI, Lilypad booking system seamlessly integrates WhatsApp and web-based channels, allowing customers to easily schedule a 30-minute doorstep demo. During the demo, an expert provides hands-on training, safety guidance, and performance insights. The company claims this approach delivers three times higher conversion rates compared to traditional showroom test drives.

So far, Lilypad has conducted over 100 home demos across Delhi-NCR and is now entering the next phase of expansion. Under its 2026 roadmap, the company aims to strengthen its presence in the capital region before expanding into Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, focusing on sustainable and customer-first growth.

Operating as a full-stack EV platform, Lilypad offers end-to-end services including digital discovery, home demos, vehicle purchases, rentals, and fleet management.
