E-mobility startup BLive EZY has officially started operations in Kolkata, aiming to deploy 5,000 electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers within the next three years. The company operates on a franchise-based model, allowing entrepreneurs or individuals to invest in EV fleets and deploy them with major e-commerce and quick commerce platforms like Zomato, Zepto, Blinkit, and Swiggy.
According to BLive, a franchise investment of ₹25 lakh enables ownership of a two- or three-wheeler EV fleet, generating monthly rental income through vehicle deployment. The company will handle all end-to-end operations, including deployment, maintenance, and rider management.
While Kolkata is among India’s fastest-growing e-commerce markets, EV adoption for deliveries remains low at just 2%. Currently, BLive EZY operates in Bengaluru, Chennai, and Goa with over 3,000 EVs and 50+ active franchisees.
The company is now expanding into Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi, which together make up 70% of India’s e-commerce and quick commerce market. For vehicle sourcing, BLive EZY has partnered with leading EV manufacturers like TVS, Ampere, and Kinetic.
