Kinetic Green Tonino Lamborghini (KGTL) has announced the appointment of Surge Systems Pvt Ltd as the authorized distributor for its luxury electric golf and lifestyle carts in India. The announcement was made from the company’s headquarters in Pune.
This partnership combines KGTL’s expertise in luxury electric vehicle technology with Surge Systems’ strong presence in professional turf maintenance. Surge Systems is a leading partner for Toro, a global turf care equipment manufacturer, and works with several golf courses, sports facilities, resorts, and premium landscapes across North and Eastern India.
KGTL offers two product lines — the Genesis Range and the Prestige Range — featuring smart TFT dashboards, electronic parking brakes, wireless mobile charging, and LED headlights. These carts are a product of collaboration between Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Ltd (India) and Tonino Lamborghini SpA (Italy).
Dr. Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder and CEO of Kinetic Green, described the products as “a perfect blend of Italian design and Indian engineering,” reflecting the spirit of Make in India. She expressed full confidence in Surge Systems’ credibility, after-sales service, and strong network.
Ferruccio Lamborghini, Vice President of Tonino Lamborghini SpA, called the collaboration “a bridge between two entrepreneurial cultures.” He emphasized that India was chosen not just as a production base, but as a symbol of growth and global ambition.
Antony Bijoy, CEO of Surge Systems, said, “Representing Tonino Lamborghini’s electric luxury golf carts aligns perfectly with our commitment to performance, reliability, and service excellence.”
KGTL has set ambitious targets — aiming to achieve INR 2,500 crore in annual revenue over the next five years and capture 10% of the global golf cart market. The vehicles were globally launched on July 17, 2025, and will be marketed worldwide under the Tonino Lamborghini brand.
Recently, Kinetic Green secured $25 million in Series A funding from UK-based Greater Pacific Capital to accelerate its expansion plans. Founded in 1981, Tonino Lamborghini has diversified from fashion accessories into hospitality, real estate, and the luxury goods sector.
