LOCO LANE, India’s first premium competitive socialising destination, which is being shaped as a year-round hub for group-driven social gatherings.
LOCO LANE’s operating model is built around participation rather than outcome, aligning with a growing preference for interactive leisure formats. Spread across 12,000 sq. ft in a central city location, the venue integrates dining, a cocktail-focused bar, and structured play into a single environment. The format supports a range of occasions including casual weekday visits, celebrations, and unplanned social outings, without relying on tightly programmed entertainment.
“2026 is about being more present,” says Sarvesh Gupta, Co-Founder, LOCO LANE. “We wanted to create a space where people don’t just sit across tables, but share moments, energy, and stories — the kind that make time feel well spent.”
At the core of the venue is The Watering Hole, a centrally located bar designed to function as a social anchor. The bar’s layout encourages movement and interaction, while its beverage program includes cocktails such as Dazzle Spritz, Bullseye Sour, and Crossing No. 5, along with a low-and-no-alcohol offering that reflects changing consumption patterns. “Our bar is built to complement the rhythm of the night,” shares Lakshya Roongta, Co-Founder (Expansion & Operations). “It’s where casual evenings turn into longer stays.”
The food program follows a similar operational philosophy, focusing on globally influenced dishes that are structured for sharing. Menu development prioritises familiarity with variation, allowing food to support ongoing interaction rather than becoming a standalone focus. “Food at LOCO LANE is part of the social flow,” adds Lakshya Roongta. “It brings people together between moments, not away from them.”
From a design standpoint, the venue balances visual energy with operational clarity. The interiors incorporate zebra-inspired elements, layered lighting, and textured finishes to create a setting that feels active while remaining functional for high footfall. “The zebra represents curiosity and confidence — a reminder to step out of routine,” says Pratik Patwari, Co-Founder (Branding & Partnerships).
Technology underpins much of the customer journey, with systems designed to streamline service and reduce friction during peak hours. “Our focus is on making the experience effortless,” notes Sarthak Kedia, Co-Founder (Technology & Data).
As Bengaluru’s hospitality market continues to mature, formats like competitive socialising are emerging as a response to changing consumer behaviour. LOCO LANE’s approach reflects a broader industry move toward spaces that combine food, beverage, and activity into a single commercial model, positioning experience as a core driver of repeat visits rather than an add-on to dining or nightlife.
