The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PhonePe to integrate insights from its enterprise data intelligence platform, PulsePro, into the PM GatiShakti framework. The partnership will support national infrastructure planning, economic analysis and urban and rural development.

Under the agreement, PhonePe PulsePro metrics will be integrated into the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan portal, managed in collaboration with the Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics (BISAG-N).

PulsePro converts aggregated and anonymised transaction data into granular, hyperlocal insights across geographies, categories and markets. The data will be available for internal government use to complement existing datasets and support data-based planning.

S. Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY, said, “Data-driven intelligence can play an important role in enabling more informed planning and decision-making.”

The MoU is aimed at providing government planners with additional visibility into market trends and supporting infrastructure and development planning through transaction-based data.
