Oben Electric has released the first teaser of its upcoming electric motorcycle, building anticipation ahead of its official unveiling on April 30, 2026. The Bengaluru-based EV maker is expected to reveal complete specifications and availability details during the launch event, further strengthening its presence in India’s rapidly growing electric two-wheeler market.
The teaser highlights the motorcycle’s front design, featuring a distinctive LED headlamp setup with a projector lens positioned below a U-shaped LED daytime running light (DRL). The styling suggests a bold and modern design direction, although the rest of the bodywork remains undisclosed.
With the campaign slogan “Unleash The Bold,” the company hints at a fresh design philosophy that could set the new model apart from its existing lineup, including the Oben Rorr and Oben Rorr EZ, both of which feature a circular headlamp design.
Technical specifications such as battery capacity, range, power output, and charging time have not yet been revealed. However, the new motorcycle is expected to leverage the company’s existing LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery technology. Oben’s current models offer up to a 4.4 kWh battery, a range of 187 km per charge, a top speed of 100 km/h, and an 8 kW motor.
The upcoming motorcycle may be positioned for urban commuting or could expand into the performance segment, though its exact positioning will become clear at the official launch.
