The agreement is part of the company’s broader multi-year effort to upgrade its fulfillment technology infrastructure. The integration will allow the brand to manage orders across multiple channels, whether handled by in-house drivers or third-party partners, through a single system that connects ordering platforms, point-of-sale systems and delivery operations into one interface.
This move reflects a wider shift among large quick-service restaurant chains toward centralised delivery orchestration. By consolidating operations, brands aim to improve efficiency, reduce operational friction and maintain consistency in customer experience across high-volume markets.
"As we continue to prioritize our technology evolution to deliver a better experience for our customers and our in-store team members, one key area of improvement is to optimize and simplify our delivery process. Partnering with Deliverect allows us to do exactly that." said Kevin Vasconi, Chief Digital and Technology Officer, Papa Johns
The platform is designed to provide end-to-end visibility across the delivery lifecycle, enabling better control over order routing, dispatching and performance tracking. Orders from first-party channels will be automatically directed to the most suitable delivery option, depending on real-time conditions and restaurant-level configurations. This includes in-house fleets, third-party logistics providers, or a hybrid model.
The use of machine learning within the system supports dynamic decision-making, reducing manual intervention and offering real-time insights into driver allocation, estimated delivery timelines and operational performance. The platform will function as a central control system, enabling them to monitor order status, manage delivery assignments and track driver movement.
"Deliverect is a global leader in delivery management, and we know how critical it is to protect the customer experience. We're thrilled to partner with Papa Johns, a brand that has built a remarkable legacy in the U.S. around quality, innovation and delivering great experiences to customers." said Noah Hayes, VP, Deliverect.
The phased deployment across U.S. locations indicates a long-term approach to technology integration with a focus on scalability and operational consistency. Such investments highlight the increasing role of integrated digital systems in managing complex delivery ecosystems while supporting growth in off-premise dining.
