EV charging infrastructure startup RoadGrid has raised ₹12 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures. The round also saw participation from Venture Catalysts, Skyline Group’s Kamal Puri, FAAD Network, LetsVenture, Pace Group’s Vrinda Goyal, Arthanomics’ Haresh Patel, and Alpha Value’s Maneesh Shrivastav.
The funding marks a key milestone in RoadGrid’s ambition to build India’s largest and most accessible electric vehicle (EV) charging ecosystem. The company operates across two high-growth segments: manufacturing and selling EV chargers to OEMs, and establishing and operating public and commercial charging stations.
On the manufacturing side, RoadGrid addresses the growing demand for offboard and fast DC chargers for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers. In parallel, under its Charging-as-a-Service (CaaS) model, the company is setting up and operating charging stations, a market that will require nearly 3 million chargers by 2030, compared to around 8,000 installed currently.
RoadGrid currently has active charging deployments in Indore, Noida, and with Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), along with a strong order book from utilities such as BSES, NPCL, and Navi Mumbai Transport. The company has a confirmed pipeline exceeding 1,000 chargers.
The startup has also partnered with VinFast’s arm V-Green to develop EV charging networks at HPCL retail outlets, and is supporting VinFast’s aftersales EV charging network in India as a technology partner.
To date, RoadGrid has completed over 100 charger installations across Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Karnataka for marquee clients including IOCL, Amazon, BSES, and NPCL. India’s EV charging market is currently estimated at around ₹5,000 crore and is projected to grow to ₹50,000 crore over the next six years.
Commenting on the development, Deepesh Shrinath, Founder and CEO of RoadGrid, said the company aims to enable seamless, sustainable, and accessible electric mobility across India by building reliable, universal charging infrastructure across vehicle categories and real-world use cases.
Mitesh Shah, Co-founder of Inflection Point Ventures, noted that while consumer intent for EV adoption in India is strong, inadequate charging infrastructure remains a key bottleneck, and RoadGrid’s integrated approach positions it well to address this gap at scale.
