Shiv Sagar Group has further strengthened its presence in Pune with the launch of its third outlet in the city, located in Kothrud. The opening marks another milestone in the brand's ongoing expansion strategy across Mumbai and Pune, taking its overall network to 17 outlets.
The new restaurant introduces an evolved dining format while staying true to the familiar flavours and experiences that have long defined the Shiv Sagar brand.
Housed within a sprawling 10,000 sq. ft. bungalow, the Kothrud outlet can accommodate up to 250 guests. Spread across three levels, the restaurant offers a combination of indoor and alfresco seating areas designed to cater to family outings, social get-togethers and celebratory occasions.
The thoughtfully curated interiors feature ample natural lighting, warm material palettes and nature-inspired artwork, complemented by a layout that balances intimate dining spaces with larger communal settings.
Enhancing the guest experience are interactive live food counters showcasing some of Shiv Sagar's most popular offerings, including Pav Bhaji, Dosas and a dedicated Filter Kaapi station. The outlet also debuts an expanded menu that highlights regional specialties such as Mangalore Buns, Appe and Golibajje, alongside several new dishes inspired by India's diverse culinary heritage.
In addition, the Kothrud restaurant features a dedicated banquet area tailored for intimate celebrations, community gatherings and social events. Guest convenience has also been prioritised through amenities such as valet parking and spacious seating arrangements.
Commenting on the launch, Narayan Poojari, Chairman and Founder of Shiv Sagar Group, said: “The vision behind the Kothrud outlet was to reimagine the Shiv Sagar experience while staying connected to its warmth and familiarity. Every element of the space, from the interiors and live stations to the expanded menu and dining experience, has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the evolving lifestyle of today’s diners while preserving the essence of Shiv Sagar. Kothrud felt like the perfect location for this journey because of its strong food culture and vibrant community.”
