Under this initiative, major driving corridors across India will be electrified with high-speed charging stations every 300–350 kilometers, each offering at least 120 kW charging capacity.
Through this collaboration, BMW Group India and Statiq have established a 4,000 km charging corridor stretching from Jammu to Madurai. Fast chargers placed along key highways and public locations will ensure reliable access to charging infrastructure for all EV users, regardless of brand. BMW customers can easily locate and use these chargers through the myBMW app.
Akshit Bansal, Founder & CEO of Statiq, said, “Our partnership with BMW Group India marks a defining moment for India’s EV ecosystem. By enabling high-power charging every 300–350 km, we are eliminating range anxiety and building consumer confidence in long-distance electric travel.”
Hardeep Singh Brar, President & CEO of BMW Group India, stated, “We are proud to be the first luxury car brand in India to surpass 5,000 EV deliveries. This partnership with Statiq strengthens our nationwide charging network. The chargers, offering 120 kW to 720 kW capacity, are strategically located near cafés, restaurants, and public spaces to provide customers with a comfortable and premium charging experience.”
Raghav Arora, Co-Founder & CTO of Statiq, added, “This partnership showcases the power of technology and collaboration in driving EV adoption. By integrating smart digital solutions with a vast network of high-performance chargers, we are preparing India’s highways for a sustainable mobility future.”
Currently, Statiq operates over 8,000 chargers across more than 70 cities, covering highways, malls, hotels, fuel stations, and key residential and commercial locations. The company has also integrated its platform with other major EV charging providers like E-Fill, Sunfuel, and GLIDA, enhancing accessibility for users nationwide.
Looking ahead, Statiq aims to install 20,000 charging points by 2026 in partnership with state governments, automobile OEMs, and real estate developers. The company continues to play a leading role in building a robust, accessible, and sustainable EV infrastructure ecosystem, contributing to India’s clean energy and green mobility goals.
